The profile below was written a long time ago, obviously I am older and if the woman is 65 plus it makes no difference anymore. What is interesting is that I have been living in the Gansbaai area for almost four years. Virtually all that I say hereunder is still applicable, but I am older and probably a little wiser, a person can grow each day.
I am a romantic and very young at heart. I do not take life too seriously, do not take myself too seriously, either. I do, however, have a responsible, caring and loving side. I subscribe to the maximum, "everything in moderation", there must be a balance in one's life. I am well traveled, well read, excellent general knowledge and highly educated. I have reached a stage in my life when its time to wind down. With this in mind I bought myself a beach cottage in the Gansbaai area, and will in all likelihood relocate there in about two/three years and retire. So, if there is somebody with like minded ideas of leaving city life and living a tranquil lifestyle, join me, there will be every chance of a future together.
Networking is a must, learning something new each and every day is most certainly a must, education, in my opinion, is the life blood of any nation in whatever form or substance that it takes. It is important for self enrichment and knowledge to meet new people/cultures and to expand one's horizons.
Do I believe in looking for love? No, I hold the view, If it is meant to be, then it will be. I have learnt that love will find you, when you least expect it. That said, it will not find you if you are in a box, a rut or in hibernation.
Something important about me: I work hard, I gym hard, I play hard but I love gentle, as I said at the outset, "everything in moderation".
All things being equal, I am pretty but down to earth.

I am looking for my soulmate. I am not prepared to start a relationship with a woman who has very, very young children, that is a non starter. I have had that experience before and it does not work. Age is no longer an issue for me, you could be 65 but 45 at heart, most importantly it is the chemistry that counts.

I am definitely not looking for a "poppy" whose nails are always french manicured, hair done to perfection and wearing high heels, I quickly move on. Now don't get me wrong, a tastefully dressed lady who can dress provocatively in high heels gets my attention, but when it is called for, Its the content of the character not the dresses, jeans or T-shirt that count in the final analysis. I hate conflict, if you got an issue talk it out, build a bridge and get over it!
I am looking for an attractive unspoilt, INTELLIGENT, educated woman.
Intelligence and sexuality are great turn ons for me. I am looking for someone who thinks similar to me, open minded, possibly well travelled, who has a hidden dark side (I mean that). That' s all I am looking for. Somebody who can laugh, experience and fantasize with me.
